Delightful Musician's House to Let!
ARTISTS PARADISE IN A FRIENDLY VILLAGE
IN THE SOUTH OF FRANCE

Would you like to spend a few days or weeks in the south of France, in a beautiful 18th century spacious village house, which is simple, practical and romantic?
The house easily sleeps 6 to 7. There is a large bedroom with an en-suite bathroom on the first floor. On the top floor there is a double bedroom, plus a double and a divan bed in a large multi-purpose ‘atelier’.
The top floor has its own shower, WC and a fully-equipped beech Magnet kitchen, breakfast bar and dining area - plus 'Juliet' balcony with glorious views of the village and to the south. It is possible to rent the top floor independently from the rest of the house as it has its own entrance from the road and its own independent facilities: ideal for a couple or for a group of 3-4 friends. It can alternatively form part of a family house if you rent the whole building and garden. There are 2 staircases and the two apartments can link on the lower and middle floors. The building has character, charm and history: one of the stair-cases is spriral and all floors are tiled. There are not many modern right-angles in the structure and design: it is a rewarding experience to explore the authentic but sensitively-modernised old buidling.
On the ground floor there is a kitchen/dining/living room, WC, plus a large garden with vine-covered patio. There are places to enjoy the sun and to eat and drink in privacy and shade. The Habitat beech kitchen looks great & is well equipped. There is a super 5-burner gas hob, double sink, big fridge-freezer, dishwasher, micro-wave, electric oven, kettle, magi-mix, toaster etc! Each dining area has tables and chairs for 4-8 people. There is a washing machine for those whose rental includes garden access.
Because this is where we live for several months of the year, the house also has a piano, a small electronic organ plus wireless internet.
We welcome you for a care-free holiday that offers excellent value for your hard-earned money!

October sunset: the Medieval village of Seillans from the garden of the house
If you look at the map, Seillans is almost directly due north of St Tropez and is about 1 hour from Nice airport, but also easily accessible by car from Toulon (Hyères) or Marseille. The TGV train stops at Les Arcs (Draguignan). Easyjet flies to Nice & Marseille from Britain. Ryanair flies to Toulon-St Tropez & Marseille. BA & Air France fly to Nice & Marseille. Nice airport is closest.
The village features restaurants, a post office, a butcher, pharmacy , a small alimentation and a Huit-a-huit supermarket. Other shops & restaurants are to be found in Fayence and on the routes from the airport. There is a public pool and inviting lakes if you do not want to head for the Mediterranean.
There are masses of things to do to suit everyone. Seillans is about 40 minutes drive from the sea. There are lots of pretty surrounding towns and villages with provençal markets, several (quite) good restaurants, lakes to swim in, rivers to explore, and fabulous walking by the sea, locally or in the hills and in the mountains of the Southern Alps where skiing is within easy reach too. There is culture in and around Nice, Thoronet Abbey while the town of Aix-en-Provence and its summer opera festival about 90 mins away. There is plenty of culture, food, wine and relaxation on your doorstep too.
